John DeMartino III - Co-Founder
John DeMartino III was born in Astoria, NY as was raised in Hicksville, NY and grew up as a typical Long Islander. Like many other high school graduates; not knowing what they want to do with the rest of their lives, John continued his education at Nassau Community College. After graduating with his Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, he decided to move on with his studies at The University of Buffalo. He studied there for two more years to achieve his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, with a minor in Business. In his senior year at UB, John experienced a life-threatening injury in Acapulco, Mexico. Needless to say, this was a major wake-up call for him. John decided to pursue something that truly made him happy. After working several jobs, and surrounding himself with business-minded peers, John finally took the plunge to follow his dreams.
Aside from the childhood movies that John would make with his friends, he had always been involved in acting or producing in some way or form. In high school and at Nassau Community College, John studied theatre and the media arts. In 2005, he starred in a short film called The Pen which was written, directed, and produced by his two friends Matthew Brousseau and Marc Williams. In 2008, his two friends became his two business partners. They joined forces and began StormNation Productions. The rest, is history.

Marc Williams - Co-Founder
Since childhood, Marc Williams has loved performing on stage and on screen. His inspiration came from his cousin Joanne Antonucci and his brother Joe, who both performed in several plays. As a young boy, Marc was an active participant in theatre, which carried on through high school. Even with all his studies on stage, video and film had a profound interest over him ever since his father brought home a black and white video camera. Marc and his brothers, Dan and Rob, would create several videos over a few years which essentially built up Marc’s love for acting.
Marc performed in many musicals and plays including Once Upon a Mattress, The Miracleworker, You Can’t Take It With You and Mousetrap. After co-starring in Unspoken for Time with the Huntington Village Theater Group in 1997, Marc stepped away from acting, but returned to study at the New York Film Academy in 2005. In his time at NYFA, Marc studied under several teachers, but his continued work under Rich Devaney (Brooklyn Bound director) helped form his style as an actor as well as a director. Marc then starred in his first feature film entitled Here's to Revenge in 2007.
After honing his craft as a screenwriter, Marc finished his first short film and sought help from long time friend and New York Institute of Technology graduate, Matt Brousseau. The short was called The Pen, and casted to play the lead was another close friend, John DeMartino III. Over the next few years, Marc continued writing his own films which led to the creation of Ripples. He diligently continued his efforts to finish the script and in the Spring of 2008, Marc presented it to his good friends. From good friends to business partners, StormNation Productions was created and led to its first feature film.
