John Andronikides was born in Queens, NY and moved to Hicksville at age 6. During High School he was a star hockey player being a 2-time Nassau County All-Star and a Nassau County Champion. While he was on the team he became friends with Marc Williams, fellow crew member for Ripples. John started his studies at Nassau Community College and received an AAS. He then went on to Briarcliff College in Bethpage, NY and received a BA in Information Systems. He’s now attending NYIT in Westbury pursuing a MBA in Information Systems.

 

In recent years, John became interested in film and what it takes to get a great concept or story from the paper to the big screen. He is a huge fan of the Turner Classic Movie Channel and anything from Billy Wilder and Marty Scorsese. John has taken Film courses in NYC which include production, directing and screenwriting. One evening, while dining out at a local establishment, John accidentally ran into an enthusiastic Marc Williams who mentioned his recent project.  Excited for a chance to become part of the action, John assisted John DeMartino III, Marc Williams, and Matt Brousseau of StormNation Productions for the Ripples project. Aside from being a creative consultant for the script, John was the lead Boom Mic Operator throughout production. It has been a great experience and in his eyes, and it’s only the beginning.
