Suzie Vale - Grace
Hello Everyone… I’m Suzie Vale. I grew up in Bayside, NY with my mother (one of the best people you could ever meet) who put me in every dance class imaginable since the age of 6. You name it…Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Gymnastics and yes even Belly Dancing were part of my after school activities. I’ve always felt very comfortable on stage so taking an interest in acting was not farfetched for me. I performed in every camp, school, and regional theater play you can think of. After studying Drama at Hofstra University I began to get cold feet and started to think about what most actors worry about…their “fall back” career.
With acting still as my first passion I became a party motivator and an entertainment event coordinator for special events. It was my way to still perform, be a part of the entertainment industry and of course get a steady paycheck, but when you are an actor it’s in your blood and you can’t shake it no matter how hard you try. After the birth of my son in 2004 I realized that this was my time to finally pursue the career I have always dreamed of. In television, I have made several appearances on As the World Turns, Lipstick Jungle, and Damages. As for film, I have done numerous student and short films but Ripples is my first feature film. I am so excited about this project and proud to be a part of it. I’ve had a blast so far. Being on this set just proves that this is the path I’m supposed to be on. Thank you Mom and my whole family for your constant support and encouragement. Michael, thank you for keeping me grounded and pulling me up when I was down. And my darling Nicholas who brightens up every day of my life…always follow your heart. I love you all.
